What are the outcomes produced? It is important to first recognise what is not provided under the current Governance regime. This is best demonstrated analogously; the current Governance practice delivers a self-drive car to provide transport to a future destination.
Provided is appropriate licences, appropriately registered drivers and a system for payment for gas, oil and tyres. At the end of the journey each of these functions is audited, and appropriate compliance documentation is prepared and submitted to the proper authority. However what is not audited is the appropriateness, serviceability or reliability of the motor of the vehicle, the braking system, signalling system or steering system which safely propels and manages the car to its destination.
Any forward thinking traveller would undertake a serviceability check, either by an automotive club or qualified mechanic before embarking on any significant journey. By undertaking our serviceability check or operational audit, stakeholder value will be enhanced by:
- Potential improved productivity
- Operational security
- Efficiency savings
- Streamlined business processes
- Removal of real or imagined impediments
- Ability to perform entirely new tasks or functions
- Conformity to best practice
- Increased executive support by independent audit
